Detached cottage. Probably C17. Rubble stone walls, thatched roof, plastered
stack at left end and one left of door, stone stack at right end. One storey
and attic. 3-room and cross-passage plan. Front wall buttressed. C20 battened
door. Ground floor has 3 C20 casements with lead lights. Attic has 3 dormers
with similar casements. At rear, a 2-storey extension with plastered walls and
thatched roof, and a single-storey flat-roofed extension. Room right of cross-
passage, and central room (hall) have large open fireplaces with timber lintols.
