Swimming pool. 1935 by G Percy Trentham in Moderne style. Built of concrete with tiled lining. Built in 12-sided "star" formation having broad deep section with angled sides allowing diving space in the middle with twin shallow ends. The diving boards have been removed but the two platforms and stairs remain. This is the only remaining example of a 12-sided "star" swimming pool in the country and is the second longest open air swimming pool remaining in London, the longest being Tooting Bec Lido.
