Monuments 15 metres
north of Chancel of
Church of St Nicholas

GV II

Four Table-Tombs. C18. Stone. 1) With plain sides and pilasters,
cavetto cornice and flat top block. To Francis Hirde, died
26 June 1721. 2) White stone with plain sides and rounded
recessed ends. Moulded top block. Inscription .... to ....
Hirde. (Rest of inscription illegible). 3) With plain sides,
bulbous end blocks with projecting rosettes and "memento mori".
To Mrs Ioane Hardey ... 4) With 3 recess quatrefoils with foliate
centres, cavetto cornice and flat top block. Inscription to
Richard Hardey, on end block.
