Attached farmhouse. Cl7, with early C19 refashioning externally and
internally. Front hung with mathematical tiles, some brick. Slate
roof with gable ends. Rendered stacks at left gable, ridge right of
centre, and brick stack at right gable. Two storeys. 3 windows to
ground floor, 3 light wood casements with glazing-bars, wood cills and
brick arches. 4 windows to first floor, two light wood casements with
glazing-bars, cambered brick arches. Front door is right of centre,
6 flush-panelled and wood frame, C19. Brick porch with gabled slate roof,
square head to entrance, late C19. Interior: the plan comprises
a through passage and three rooms, each with a fireplace, the middle one
backing on to the cross passage. In early mid C19, the present stair-
case was built alongside the back wall, with access from a longitudinal
passage partitioned off in the middle room north of the stack.
