SY 5785 ABBOTSBURY WEST STREET, NORTH SIDE

10/93 Nos 36 and 37 (formerly listed
26.1.56 part of 6 cottages adjoining Rose Cottage)
GV II

Two attached cottages, of one build. Mid C19. Rubble-stone walls with
projecting plinth. Slate roof with gable-ends and boxed eaves. Rebuilt brick
stacks at left hand gable, centre ridge and right hand gable. 2 storeys.
4 windows, 3-light cast-iron casements with glazing-bars to ground floor: one
single light version to No 37. Segmental brick arches to ground floor openings.
2-light cast-iron casements to first floor windows. Wooden cills. Front doors,
towards each end, No 36, plank, C20 with one glass light; No 37, flush-panelled
with 2 top lights. Continuous outshuts at rear.
