Stone house on corner of Hound Street. Steep plaintile roof. Painted
brick C18 front. 2 storeys and attic. 4 window bays. 2 boxed dormers
Dentil brick eaves cornice. Sash windows to 1st floor partly obscured
by shop front; keystones; no glazing bars.
Rear wing along Hound Street has plaintile roof with wary ridge and with
stone slates near verge. Above, ledged door, horizontally sliding sash
window; below, a ledged door with fanlight and a modern window to the right
of it. Large stone chimney.

The left hand return forms a group with Nos 2, 6 and 8 Hound Street.
