3/139 The Laurels

- II

House, probably early C19. Coursed squared rubble with gable-ended
tiled roof. Plat band. End stone pilasters with moulded capitals.
Symmetrical. 2 storeys, 3-window range. 16-pane sashes. Pitched
labels over windows. Metal tent hood with wrought-iron trellis
supports. Panelled door. Internal features (RCHM): original fireplace
surround with festoon enrichment.
