House. C18 with C19 additions and C20 alterations. Painted rendered stone and
cob. Hipped thatch roof. Rebuilt stacks set just off the ridge and to rear left
end. Originally the house appears to have been a 2-cell cottage with central
entry, now blocked, and internal partitions removed. Extended at right end by
addition of stables now part of dwelling, and at left end by addition of further
room and dairy wing to front forming overall L-shaped plan. 2 storeys. 6-window
range. C20 fenestration and thatched porch. Ground floor windows have timber
lintels. Fireplaces across rear left hand corners of the 2 principal rooms.
C18/C19 roof structure with roughly-hewn pegged trusses and waney rafters.
