Tenement farmhouse with stable range attached. Circa 1830-40. Painted stone
rubble. Slate roof with gable end brick stacks. Stable range unrendered, slate-
hung at front gable end.
Symmetrical 2-room and central staircase plan, 1½ rooms deep. Stable range projects
forward as wing at left gable end.
2 storeys. 2-window range, the central window being blind. Symmetrical. C19
fenestration intact with 12-paned sashes above 16-paned sashes. Flat-roofed central
porch with arched timber struts. 2-panelled door, the upper half glazed with margin
glazing bars. Stable range lofted, with external stone steps at rear gable end.
Plank door with arched timber lintel to rear, blocked doorway to front. 16-paned
sash at front gable end.
The house is particularly unspoilt and retains its C19 joinery and fittings.
