Cottage. Late C18. Painted rendered stone rubble and cob. Hipped thatch roof. 2
rear brick stacks.
Plan: 2 room plan each room heated by fireplace on rear wall with direct entry into
right-hand room. C20 internal alterations have obscured original plan, but probably
consisted of 2 rooms and cross-passage, the right-hand partition of which has been
removed, with possibly a small unheated scullery/pantry at left end. Stairs in C20
rear outshut.
Exterior: 2 storeys. 3 window range. C19 3 light casements to each side of small
single light Gothick style window with 4-centred head. Large lean-to C20 thatch
porch. C20 fenestration to ground floor.
Interior: much altered in C20. Fireplaces have thin cambered timber lintels.
