Farmhouse. Circa late C17 with C19 addition. Rendered cob and rubble walls.
Thatch roof gabled to left, hipped to right. 2 rendered brick stacks - one at left
gable end, one axial.
Plan: either 2 or 3-room plan, possibly with passage. The left-hand and central
rooms heated by end stacks. Unheated service room at right-hand end which is either
integral or an C18 addition. Stairs inserted in C20 into possible passage between
central and left-hand rooms. C19 outshut added at rear.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Asymmetrical 4-window front of C20 casements of 2, 3 and 4
lights. C20 leanto porch left of centre with plank door.
Interior: open fireplace in right-hand room with rough wooden lintel. Left-hand
room has roughly chamfered cross beams, one with straight-cut stops. C19 rough
straight principal roof timbers.
