House and barn/stables. Probably early C18 with late C18 alterations.
Pebble-dashed walls, under graduated greenslate roof with banded rendered
chimney stacks. Barn/stables of whitewashed rubble under graduated greenslate
roof. 2 storeys, 2 bays with lower right 2-storey, 2-bay barn/stables. Centre
top-glazed panelled door in painted stone surround. Sash windows with glazing
bars, those on right double, all in stone surrounds. Barn/stables have 2 plank
doors and irregular small openings, one a partly-blocked 2-light stone-mullioned
window. Right return wall has slit vents under loft doorway. Listed for group
value with Ash View and Ash Cottage, in a prominent position when approaching
the village from the north.
