Farmhouse and attached barns. Late C17 with later additions. Stone rubble, the
house roughcast, brick to stacks, slate roof. 2 storeys, 4 bays, 4th bay
probably later. Windows are sashed with glazing bars, but 1st 3 windows of 1st
floor are smaller, with single glazing bars and horns. Entrance to 2nd bay.
2 cross-axial stacks and gable-end stack of stone with brick upper parts.
2 storey outbuilding to left returns back, with 1st floor entrance up steps and
cross-axial stack; later barn to rear has quoins and hipped roof, square ventilation
holes; similar barn forms 3rd side of yard. House has gabled rear wing
with gable-end stack. Interior, not inspected, said to have C17 panelled
partitions etc.
