2. Dated 1854. Corner of Graham Street. Once a public house and stables. Alma House fronts onto Graham Street, 2 storeys and basement, painted scored stucco, quoins, slates, eaves on blocks, centre panelled door and small fanlight in doorcase with pilasters and cornice, up 5 steps with simple iron railing, two 12-paned sashes down and 3 up in plain architraves. Gable end to Beacon Road has a panelled door and two 12-paned sashes down, 3 up and 1854 datestone in gable. Alma Cottage is 2 storeys, converted circa 1890 from stables, with doorway and three 6-paned sash windows with continuous dripstone rising over each opening, and 3 sash windows above, all in plain stone architraves.
