15/7 Barn range to north-
west of Asby Hall

Barn range with attached animal houses, mid C18 with later additions. Coursed,
squared rubble with quoins; lime-washed. Stone ridge to graduated slate roof
with stone coping and kneeler to north end; on east side, stone flags to eaves
and byre outshut to south end. 1½ storeys. Right-hand jamb of planked door
marks south end of original building which has one full height wagon door with
segmental head to left and, to right, two lower wagon doors with segmental
heads, hoodmoulds, and loft access above. South end of main building has 2
windows with blocked stone window surround between and loft access above; to
right is planked door (mentioned above). An attached range of outbuildings is
set back to the south under a single pitch roof. A lean-to pigsty is built on
at the north end of the building.
