NY 2623 1/43 George Hotel

Said to be the oldest inn in Keswick originally C16, now late Georgian in appearance.
Scored stucco, quoins, 3 storeys. Flush-panelled door, pilastered doorcase,
round arched fanlight with Gothic glazing bars. 2 windows on ground floor,
and 3 sash windows each upper floor in plain stone architraves. An additional
portion to the right is similar but with a plain doorway and an extra bay on
the right hand end.
