NY 15 SE HOLME EAST WAVER Moss Side

6/21 Moss Side House and
adjoining barn

II

Farmhouse and adjoining barn. Late C18 or early C19. Painted stucco with
painted V-jointed quoins on chamfered plinth. Graduated greenslate roof with
stone chimney stacks. 2 storeys, 3 bays; lower barn to left at right-angles.
Top-glazed 6-panel door in painted stone architrave under console-bracketed
pedimented cornice. Sash windows in painted stone surrounds. Barn has stucco
blank wall at front. Rear wall of brick has large projecting cart entrance.
Further extension to right is of no interest.
