NY 21 NE BORROWDALE WATENDLATH

Farmhouse. Mid C17. Painted slate rubble walls with slate string course, on
projecting plinth stones, under graduated greenslate roof with painted rendered
chimney stacks. 2 storeys, 3 bays. C17 studded plank door within C17 gabled
stone porch with side seats. Irregular casement windows with glazing bars in
plain reveals. Name changed to its original name by the National Trust c1980.
C20 extension to right and barn to left are not of interest.
