Stables and trap-house with granary and adjoining lamp-house and earth closet. Circa
late C19. Granite rubble with granite dressings. Dry Delabole slate half-hipped
roof over granary, otherwise scantle slate roofs.
Plan: Small rectangular plan stables with fuel store or trap-house on the left and
granary loft over; lean-to cartshed on the right and single-storey lamp-house set
back on the left with probably a former earth closet at its far left. The lamp-house
faces west into a cobbled courtyard linked to Lefra Farmhouse qv. by high walls at
either side.
Exterior: 2-storey stable building, otherwise single storey. Unaltered elevations.
Stable front has wide carriage doorway on the left with original ledged doors with
glazed top panels; relieving arch over and arched stable doorway on the right with
original 2-light casement window on its left. At first floor middle is a hipped
dormered loading hatch with original boarded shutters.
Interior is virtually unaltered since the C19. Original stall partition in the
stables.
