Decorative Lodge Cottage, mid C19, red brickwork with slate roofs. Of 2
parallel single storey, N-S ranges, return block across N end and lean-to on
south end. Wide overhanging eaves, pierced bargeboards, finials and stack with
2 angled square shafts joined at the heads. N elevation has semi-circular
central arched headed door and open porch with finial and bargeboards, as above.
Either side, a 2 light lattice lighted casement and similar windows on other
elevations with rendered band surrounds. An occulus in the NW gable is filled
with a cast-iron ventilator grill with radial patterning.
