SW 52 NE BREAGE

6/24 Farm buildings at from 5 metres
west of Trewartha

GV II

Farm buildings, comprising waggon shed with granary over and an adjoining piggery.
Circa early and mid C19. Granite rubble with dressed granite quoins and some
jambstones, wooden lintels. Grouted scantle slate roofs with gable ends.
L-shaped plan: one arm of the L a long single storey piggery range, with its roof
following the slope of the land, the other arm of the L a 2 storey waggon shed with
granary over and a single storey store on the right. The principal openings face
into the angle: the piggery has 5 small doorways (2 of them very low) and the
cartshed has 2 wide doorways (one partly blocked). At the first floor the granary
has a wide loading/winnowing doorway, with similar opening approached by granite
steps at the rear.
The buildings form a coherent group with Trewartha q.v.
