Farmhouse. C17 origins, late C19 and C20 alterations. Colourwashed and roughcast,
C20 slate roof with gabled ends. Left gable end chimney brick; projecting right
gable end stack with brick shaft. Single depth plan, 3 rooms wide, with rear lean-
to additions. Original plan may have been 2 or 3 rooms wide, room at lower end
used as shippon at one time. 2 storeys. 4-window asymmetrical front with off-
centre front door and C20 glazed, flat-roofed conservatory. Windows throughout 2-
light C20 casements, 6 panes per light, openings enlarged. Ground floor room left
has 2 chamfered cross-beams with wide runout stops. Large fireplace with cloam
oven and chamfered fireplace beam with wide runout stops partly concealed by C20
fireplace. 6-panel doors to ground floor, one 2-panel C18 door to first floor room
right. Principals visible in upstairs rooms, roofspace not inspected.
