GV II

Two dwellings formed in service areas of Truthan House (q.v.). Probably
C17 and Cottage structure added in C18, both much altered.
Killas with slate roof to annex cottage, and corrugated iron roof to
Truthan Cottage.
Plan: Annex is a 2-bay structure forming north wall of yard, with the
Cottage added at right angles, also of 2 bays comprising kitchen and
sitting room, and small lean-to structure at rear.
Two storeys. C20 6-panelled door to Cottage, and 12-paned sash windows
with timber lintels to upper floor. Multi-paned casements to ground floor.
Gable stack. Entrance to Annex in east gable end.
Included primarily for group value.
