- 130 metres north-east of
Farringdon House

Gate posts to grounds of Farringdon House (q.v.). Circa 1900. Rock-faced red
sandstone with moulded concrete coping. The gateway is flanked by tall square-
section gate posts with soffit-moulded coping and ogee-moulded caps. A short
distance either side are smaller versions connected by a low wall and beyond these
piers the wall curves outward to similar terminal piers.
