2 cottages, now estate agents and hairdressers with accommodation above. Circa lead
C18. Painted and rendered stone rubble with rag slate roof with nipped higher end on
left and cement-washed scantle slate roof with gabled lower end on right. Axial
brick chimney stack between 2 properties and rendered brick chimney stack on front
slope at lower gable end. Single depth plan. Ground rises up from Fore Street and
drops down to rear of properties in Little Green. 2 storey elevation to front with
basement to rear as ground level changes.
Asymmetrical 2-window elevation to Fore Street. Ground floor with C20 shop window
with glazing bars beneath timber lintel. 2 part glazed doors, set back and 4-pane
sash to right. First floor with 12-pane sash and C20 window to right. In hipped
gable end the ground drops to rear. 2 C19 casement windows to basement beneath
timber lintels. C20 bow window on ground floor and casement with glazing bars above.
3-storey rear elevation to Cottage Cuts with sashes to first and second floors.
