Lime kiln. Early C19. Slatestone rubble with brick dressings; large blocks of
random rubble.
Plan: large rectangular kiln, about 10 metres by 5 metres. Built into the bank at
the rear for top loading. 2 entrances to front.
Front has 2 round-arched entrances, with a projecting stone band course above the
arches, continued around the sides. Right side has a skewed inspection hole.
Circular kiln inside.
