4/230 Cart shed about 10 metres south
east of the Miller's House

Cart shed, Mid - late C19 with few later alterations. Slatestone rubble with brick
dressings. Slate roof with gable ends.
Plan: Cart shed with doors to front at ground floor and loft over; built into the
bank at the rear with an external stair at the left side giving access to the loft.
Exterior: 2 storeys; ground floor has 2 round-arched brick openings with double
doors. First floor has central 2-light casement with small 2-pane light to right and
left. At the left side an external stone stair to a loft door with cambered brick
arch. Granite though set in the angle between the stair and the cart shed. The right
side has attached single storey outhouse with door and 2 windows at the front and 5-
light window. 2 doors in the right gable end.
