2/147 Liston Garden

GV II

House. Circa 1500 with later alterations and C20 extension to right. Timber
framed and rough rendered. Red plain tiled roof. 2 storeys and attics. 5
window range of C20 small paned casements. Off-centre plain boarded door.
Off-centre red brick chimney stack. Red brick chimney stack to right. Wing at
rear. Interior has back to back inglenook fireplace. Much exposed timber with
chamfered beams. Bladed scarf. It appears that the house may have collapsed
C16/17 and was rebuilt around the circa 1500 chimney stack.
