Milestone 100 metres to south east of Butterdon Mill

Milestone. Circa 1761-1764. Granite, rectangular in plan. Tapered post with rounded
head. Inscribed and painted in black block capitals: LISKEARD / 3 / CALLINGTON / 5 ½ .

Turnpike act for roads leading to Liskeard, 1761, 1 Geo III c25. Act for roads leading to Callington, 1764, 4 Geo III c48.
