NB. This item is no longer II*. Early C19. Two storeys and attic, 4 and one
windows. Brick with painted flat arches. North wing slightly lower. Pantile
roof with brick chimney moulded footstones and wood gutter. Two later dormers
with glazed cheeks, gabled and having foiled bargeboards and finnacles. Flush
framed plate glass sash windows, casement windows in wing. Two 4-light square
bays on ground floor flanking doorpiece of fluted Doric pilasters, entablature
and pediment. The wing to right has a 3-window return to North (No 81D). At
the rear is No 81A: a 2-storey, 3 window (casement) wing terminating in a mid-
Cl9 3 bay projecting and arcaded ground floor loggia:- pantile roof; sundial
between the 2 first floor windows which are late glazed sashes with shutters.
