GV II

House. Early C19. Dressed sandstone with tooled margins. Clay
pantile roof; stone gable and ridge copings; stone stack( R.H.S)
with cornice; brick stack (L.H.S). 2 storeys, 5 bays. Central
doorway with flat pilaster-and-entablature surround; cornice hood
on panelled moulded brackets; rectangular fanlight; 4-panelled
door. Sash windows; moulded stone architraves with flared bases;
bracketed stone sills continued as bands. Wrought iron brackets
support ogee iron guttering. Rusticated quoins. Listing
includes wrought iron railings enclosing the narrow gardens
either side of doorway; and the mid C19 rear (N. side) extension
in the same materials and style; 2 storeys.
