SJ 86 NE EATON C.P. MACCLESFIELD ROAD

Farmhouse. Mid/Late Cl7. Timber framed with brick infill and slate roof. Two
cells. Two storeys. Entrance front: Stone plinth, 9 x 4 cells of small framing
with angle braces to either side and the sixth upright from the left. C19 and
C20 fenestration. Early C19 addition to left with single-light ground floor
window and basket-arched single light window to first floor. Right hand gable
end: Posts to left, right and centre of ground floor with C20 single-light window
to right and 6 x 2 cells of small framing to the first floor. Small framing
and V-strut to gable. Rear: 9 x 3 cells of small framing with brick and wattle
and daub infill and angle braces to left and right and fifth upright from left.
C20 fenestration but some blocked C18 casement lights. Early C19 addition to
right with C20 window and splayed head to ground floor window.
