Late Cl8 detached house, 3 storeys, brick on stone base, with string and eaves
cornice, slate roof. 6-panelled door and semi-circular fanlight with glazing
bars, in doorcase with reeded wood pilasters. 2 plain sash windows each floor,
most with glazing bars, and with brick arches, stone sills, and wrought iron segmental
balconies to Ist floor.

Nos 6 and 8 and Nos 1 to 9 (odd) form a group with No 62 and The Friends Meeting
House, Buttermarket Street.
