Farmhouse, probably early C18 recased and refurbished early C19.
Flemish bond brown brick; grey slate roof. Basement; 2 main storeys;
attic; 3 windows. 5 stone steps to door of 4 octagonal panels and 2
rectangular glazed panels in classical doorcase with Ionic flutes to
pilasters, pulvinated frieze and dentilled pediment. Small-paned
casements to basement under cambered gauged-brick arches; recessed
16-pane sashes to both main storeys with rusticated keystone wedge
lintels and projecting stone cills; attic windows in end gables; tall
stair window at rear under cambered gauged-brick arch; rear wing with
no visible features of special interest, 2 flush gable chimneys.
Interior could not be inspected, but oak newel dogleg stair and
painted 6-panel doors are visible.
