Parish boundary stone at SJ 9537 7326.

Parish boundary stone: dated 1822. Semi-circular headed sandstone
block has a well-cut "M 1822" (for Macclesfield) on its west face.

There are other identical stones showing the Macclesfield boundary
between Macclesfield Forest (2) and Rainow (2) (q.v.).

Part of this stone is in the former Macclesfield Urban District.
