House, circa 1800 or earlier. Brown brick of C18 or earlier type in
irregular English garden wall bond to sides and back, pebbledashed to
front. Grey slate roof with flush gable chimneys. Of 2 storeys and 2
windows with lower 2 storey, 2 window wing, flush, to right, perhaps
originally a farm building. Sashes set flush, 4 panes wide with
sandstone cills, in taller portion; C20 small-pane casements with
steep cills of moulded brick in 2 courses in right wing. C20 boarded
door. Fragment of red sandstone walling in right gable, which also
has bricked-up openings.
Interior: Six-panel doors with fielded panels to backs; a 5-panel
door to the partly rock-cut cellar.
