Formerly a farmhouse and cottage, now a house : dated 1653 with a C18
extension and C20 modernisation. Brick nogged timber framing on
sandstone plinth, extension in washed brick. Welsh slate roof. 1
ridge and 1 gable brick chimney. 1 and 2-storey, 5-bay front. Left 3
bays of 1 storey in good timber small framing of 2 by 9 panels with
angle bracing. 2 2-light wooden casements with glazing bars and
central blocked doorway with 1653 on the lintel. Right 2 bays of 2
storeys is former cottage. A door and 2 2-light casements with
glazing bars under rough segmental brick heads. Left gable shows
tiebeam and collar truss.
