Pair of semi-detached cottages. Formerly one mid C17 house with
extensive mid/late C19 alterations. Timber framed with brick infill
and plain tile roof. Two storeys. Entrance front: Close studding with
angle braces to left, right and centre. Two mirror image cottages.
The left hand one has a 3-light casement windows to the right with a
similar first floor window above and a timber-framed gable above that.
To the left is a lean-to brick porch. Central ridge chimney stack.
All the windows on this front have decorative glazing bars forming a
honeycomb pattern of hexagons. Originally one C17 farmhouse the
building was adapted by the Peckforton estate.
