SJ 58 NW FORMER BOROUGH OF WIDNES NORLANDS LANE

2/93 Norland's House

30.5.63 II

Farm house early C18 with alterations and additions. Whitened
brickwork with stone dressing. 2 storey and attic 2 bay with 2 storey
2 bay added wing to East. Rusticated quoins, stone plinth and floor
bands. Remaining sash windows recently replaced by casements.
Interior: Stopped bevelled beams, ledged and battened and 2 panel
doors, 6 panel doors with fielded panels, some with H hinges.
Staircase with turned balusters, cut and bracketed string, swept rail
and dado panelling.
