Cottage, formerly school and smithy. Mid C18 with additions to rear
and sides. Limewashed brick, pantile roof. 2 storeys, 2 cell plan.
2 light timber casements with iron stays. Doorway into left cell has
added porch. Brick stacks with collars at gables. Gable parapets
with tile coping and brick kneelers.
Interior: inglenook fireplace with large internal stack. Chamfered
beam. Right hand room has replaced ceiling.
