Gate and posts, c.1881, by Alfred Waterhouse. 10 ft wrought iron
single gate. Fairly simple design with 2 wavy dogbars between each
pair of main vertical rails. Repeated scrollwork between spikes at
head of dogbars and at top rail of gate.
Pair of complex sandstone gateposts each with 4 corner spirelets and
central mounting carrying wrought iron lantern.
