Formerly Stanley House. Mid C19. Double fronted 3 windows. 3 storeys.
Gault brick with rusticated stone dressings. Stone console-bracketted
cornice with blocking course. Continuous stone cill strings. Square-
headed, recessed sash and casement windows with 2nd floor architraves,
1st floor bracketted cornices and 3 light central pedimented window.
3 light ground floor windows with rusticated surrounds. Central doorway
of Venetian type with rusticated archivolt, side lights, fanlight and
panelled door. Round-arched side entrance with rusticated surround,
fanlight and panelled door. Balustraded balconies to 1st floor windows

Nos.3 to 5 (consec), the Free Church, the Golden Lion Hotel and the
Town Hall form a group.
