Grove Cottage

GV II

House. Early C18 with C20 alterations and addition. Timber-framed and
roughcast rendered. Plain tiled roof. External gable end red brick stack to
right hand and internal stack to left hand gable. Two storeys, two unit plan
with central passage. Three timber-framed bays with chimney bay to left hand
gable. Boarded door and two ground floor and three first floor leaded light
casement windows. Interior: Exposed timber-frame and stop-chamfered floor
beams to floor frames. Red brick open hearth to left hand room with recesses
on either side forming closets.
