North Road Farmhouse

House formerly a farmhouse. Early C17 with C18 and C19 additions and
alterations. Timber-framed and roughcast rendered. Plain tiled roofs. Two
red brick stacks. Two storey and attic main range facing east with later two
storey range to rear forming an L-plan; C19 outshuts in angle to north.
Refronted and remodelled in late C19. Main entrance facade facing south; two
canted bay windows flank four-panelled door with rectangular falilight spanned
by hipped pent roof; one sixteen-paned hung sash window to left hand. Two
first floor and one attic casement windows. INTERIOR: One quarter-round
moulded beam, some exposed timber-frame, sealed hearths. C18 anti C19 doors.
