Memorial to Richard Young (b.1809, d.1871), greatest Wisbech ship owner. Erected 1872 and restored after gale damage 1883. Designed by J. Wallis Chapman of London. Pink granite, sandstone dressings. Column with free Corinthian capital and finial with trefoiled panels surmounted by an urn. Square plinth with corner buttresses. Inscribed 'Memorial to Richard Young'.
