House. C17 or possibly of earlier origin. Pebble-dash timber
frame and - or cob. Thatched roof with gabled ends. Axial and
gable end brick stacks.
3-room plan, the left and centre room heated from back-to-back
fireplaces in axial stack with entrance lobby in front; and the
right hand end room with-a gable end stack.
1 storey and attic. Asymmetrical 3-window west front. Panelled
and glazed door to left of centre with canted bay windows either
side with sashes and 2-light casementon left with glazing bars. 2
similar smaller attic casements at centre and left in eyebrow
half- dormers.
Interior: All ground floor rooms have chamfered axial beams, the
centre and left hand rooms with cyma stops. C18 and C19 panelled
doors and C19 chimneypieces, that in left room in large fireplace.
Chambers ceiled but exposed purlins, wall-plates and tie-beams of
partition between centre and right chamber.
