An early C19 brick building with a simple parapet, plastered on the west
front. Brick additions extend to the north on Lynn Road, partly 3 storeys
and partly a 2 storeyed stable wing. The main block is 3 storeys. 6
window range on the west front and 4 window range on the south front.
The extension to the north has 5 window range, the windows are all double-hung
sashes with glazing bars, in plain reveals. The entrance on the west
front has an early C19 stucco doorcase with pilasters and cornice. The
north extension has a cart entrance with a segmental brick arched head.
Roofs slate.

No 2 (Lamb Hotel) forms a group with Nos 1, 1A & 2 High Street and
No 3 Minister Place.
