With No 1 Northampton Street. Late C16; 2 storeys with attics timber-framed
and plastered; both 1st floor and attics project on Northampton Street
front, and gabled North end of attics and whole of 1st floor project on
front to Magdalene Street. An exceedingly picturesque block together with
Cory House. NORHAMPTON STREET, q,v. (property of SPAB). The attics were
constructed in the Cl7, the mansard roof added in the C18. Sliding sash
windows. C19 shopfront. 2 rooms with Cl7 panelling. (RCHM 211).
Nos 13 to 18 (consec) and Nos 20 to 31 (consec) form a group.
