Early C19 shop, part of row. Painted local brown brick with
slate roof. Three storeys, two 'bays'. Panelled brick parapet
with central roundel, and stone coping. Nine-paned second floor
recessed hung sash windows in cambered gauged brick arches and
twelve-paned hung sash windows with similar openings at first
floor. Late C19 shop with door to left hand. Building occupies
an important position facing the church and churchyard.
