Probably originally 1 house. Timber frame and brick, tiled roof. 2
storeys and attic. Circa 1600. No 16 has 1st floor modern flush casement,
ground floor C19 sash. Doorway and bay window under continuous tiled
hood. No 18 has ground floor rebuilt wall flush with upper floor. Ground
floor cut bracketted doorhood, sash and modern casement. 1st floor 2
sliding casements with glazing bars.

Nos 16,18 and 20 Silver Street form a group.
